Here's the story on the Freedom Bird
There was a man and he went out to the forest to hunt.
He saw a bird.
Bird:(annoyingly)Nah-Nee Nah-Nee Nay-Nay
The man couldn't put up with the bird's song so he shot it.
He put the bird in his hunting sack.
On the way home he heard
Bird:Nah-Nee Nah-Nee Nay-Nay
In the sack.
When he finally got home he decided to cook the bird and eat it.
He chopped the bird in little pieces and put it in a pot.
While the water boiled he heard
Bird:Nah-Nee Nah-Nee Nay-Nay
The man wasn't sure if he was hearing things or not.
So he took the pieces of bird out of the pot.
Put them in a box.
Locked the box up.
And put the box in the river.
The box floated downstream.
Until some kids saw it.
Kid 1:What's this box?
Kid 2:There's something inside it.
The kids opened the box and many little birds flew out.
The kids watched the birds and they flew away.
A couple days later the man went back into the forest to do more hunting.
He saw all the little birds in the trees all around him.
Man:Oh I get it.You're the Freedom Bird.Nothing can ever kill you.
Birds:(heavenly voice)Nah-Nee Nah-Nee Nay-Nay

If your having a hard time watching/finding the series you could try the link I put in the Pretty Cure Forum in the Heartcatch Precure Sub Topic. They have Pretty Cure and MaxHeart episodes with subs at least for watching. If not that you could also try here http://www.crunchyroll.com/prettycure They also have Pretty Cure English Sub and its completely LEGAL cause they have permission from the company to stream at least the first original PC... unless you have a region restriction problem =/. I still have not found a site that would stream the english dub though...

Kay. Last Saturday (Feb 27th, 2010) They have showed the episode where Ryota (right?) goes on an errand t give something to his father, Nagisa and Honoka Follow him making sure he's okay and not lost also to keep track of him and to "help" him as well. Here is the episode name: It Takes Guts!
